Welcome To Symmetry Chiropractic Wellness Center
Dr. Devin Brossard
My passion for health and wellness, and ultimately the choice to become a Doctor of Chiropractic, grew from personal experience. I was a passenger in a high speed, roll over car accident, in high school. Afterwards I suffered from muscle spasms, headaches and excruciating pain. I was medically mismanaged by my primary care provider and suffered for 8 months with increasing pain and spasms. The prescribed pain pills and muscle relaxers did little to relieve my suffering and left me without hope that I would ever get better. I was eventually referred to a chiropractor and received care that addressed the problem, instead of masking the symptoms. Gradually the pain was decreased and my health was regained. After that experience, I knew that there would be no better career than to make the same difference in other people’s lives. I understand first hand, that there is hope for those who suffer needlessly.
My understanding and approach to health care has stemmed from my education. My wife and I spent four years in Davenport Iowa, where I earned the Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the prestigious, world renowned, Palmer College of Chiropractic. I finished the clinical requirements early and was qualified to be a clinical intern at a patient and wellness centered clinic for the remainder of my education. I am also a Certified Fitness Trainer. I owned a personal training business, and also created and directed the personal training program at Palmer College. I was very blessed to have the opportunity to work with clients one-on-one, manage other trainers, and develop school wide health challenges.
I believe that community involvement and philanthropy is the key to making a difference. Since opening our clinic in July 2012, we have raised over 100 thousand dollars for local non profits through the clinic’s internal fundraisers and serving as the President of the Arlington Runners Club, which hosts several fundraiser races each year. I also serve as the President of the Clubhouse at 7 Lakes, and as board member for the Rotary Club of Arlington. We are blessed to be part of this community with business, friendship, and partnerships, and are committed to continue in service to make it an even better place to live.
My wonderful wife Chelsea, and beautiful children, Penny, Beckett and Callen are right beside me in all of the service and community activities. Aside from those, we enjoy running, hiking, gardening and anything else that gets us outside during the year. We feel very fortunate to serve in this community, and look forward to many more years of helping patients regain and keep their health in balance.
Dr. Drew Ronchak
My passion for health and healing came when I was in high school. I was diagnosed with lyme disease at the age of 17. After a short and scary stint where my sister and I were both hospitalized with two separate conditions at the same time my parents decided to take charge of our health. She brought us to a naturopathic clinic that incorporated homeopathic medicine and chiropractic. It was there that I first learned about the amazing healing capacity of the body. This innate God given ability to heal not only helped me further heal from lyme disease but helped me to put on 20 pounds of muscle in 1 week. Through chiropractic I have seen many miracles like this, and that sparked my interest enough to pursue Chiropractic College. My interest was further solidified when I had a near complete tear of a ligament in the ankle. I didn’t even think to go to the chiropractor despite all the amazing things I had seen it do. After getting my ankle adjusted I no longer needed crutches to walk and my ankle could heal in its proper alignment. I feel blessed to participate in such a life altering profession.
Much like Dr. Brossard, I studied rigorously for 3 years at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. This is the fountainhead of chiropractic, and where it all started. I spent much of my free time studying techniques that I could use to help my patients. I studied, into great depth, areas such as the upper cervical spine and extremities. I am passionate about keeping people doing what they love for their whole life.
In my free time you can find me scaling rock walls, and hiking to alpine lakes where I am never scared to jump in for an icy dip. I love just about any adrenaline activity though. From mountain biking to brisk walking, living life on the edge is where I’ll be. I look forward to seeing all you in the clinic and keeping you healthy and doing the things you love!
